At an appointment in late June, we found out that Frankie would require double hip surgery this winter (yes, the waitlist is over 6 months long, even with a partially dislocated hip!)
Knowing that the best option to get Frankie home from surgery (vs a 6 week admission at the Stollery) I put finally put down a deposit on a wheelchair accessible van.
